Classically, the deep winter is a time to slow down, rest, incubate, and retreat.

The winter teaches us about true healing - that it usually happens in deep silence when nothing feels like it’s happening at all. And in fact, this is often what is experienced as the nervous system organizes itself to a greater state of safety and coherence under vitalistic chiropractic care.

The wisdom of going slow and entering the deep mystical place of the unknown, the Tao, feels like it’s been lost to our culture. But reconnecting again can bring one to deeper states of connection with yourself. Check out this nice listen, if this is something you connect to. https://open.spotify.com/episode/1iaYSpDDNmOsIgzmGA1SNS?si=j7mEd3fBThSKtSQDusQVBw
